There’s a lot going on at Sweet Surrender. Recently, I stumbled upon a photo shoot when I arrived to do my baking. Helka was doing a multi-day shoot of Brian Fentress and ReGeneration, a fantastic gospel group. Interesting makeup, no?
I’m not sure what kind of story these photos will tell, but I’m sure there will be a story. I say that because of the photos Helka took to commemorate the 10th anniversary of Bread of Life. Founded by a young couple from my home state of Arizona, Bread of Life is a faith based charitable foundation, now operating in several locations in multiple countries.
Their ministry began in the Poznan train station when Richard ventured in one evening carrying a Thermos of hot tea and two granola bars in his pocket, hoping to connect with Poznan’s homeless. The young family has become three, soon to be four. When I say they’ve come a long way in the past ten years, it’s true in very many ways.
