Happy New Year from Sedona, AZ

January 1, 2010 by Lois Britton 1 Comment

Savannah’s Steak House in Sedona, AZ
We enjoyed a New Year’s Eve meal and a belated 30th anniversary celebration among the beautiful red rocks of Sedona.  The food at Savannah’s was excellent.  My husband tried their crawfish bisque; my taste of this creamy soup left me vowing to make something similar at home.  We shared a chateaubriand for two which was very tender and tasty, but the star in my carb-loving mind was the smoked gouda, jalapeno, crawfish whipped potatoes – an unexpected combination of flavors that went so well together.

Wishing you all the best in the coming year!
