By the time you read this, we’ll be on the road for another trip. This time to Munich; then, on to meet Ed’s brother and our sister-in-law in Venice. They’ll be coming back to Poznan with us for a day or so, via Vienna, before they fly out of Berlin.
We’ve just been home lone enough to do some laundry after taking my mother and sister to Krakow for a couple of days before they returned to the U.S. We did the usual things, visited the Stary Rynek. There’s a great craft market in the square and a traveling market as well while we were there. We visited the Salt Mine, Auschwitz, and checked out the fire breathing dragon under the castle. We also saw some people lighting lantern balloons and sending them off along the Vistula.

This was a trip of a lifetime. Thanks to you and Ed who put so much thought and effort into making it so. It would be impossible to pick a "favorite" thing we did or saw–it was all fabulous.

It was so nice for us to be able to show you around. I uploaded a few photos, but I finished the post with my iPad, and they got lost along the way. I'll add them later.

We did that trip 3 years ago, minus Auschwitz. Krakow is my husband's favorite Polish city. This year, we will be in Gdansk, and Malbork. And – I hope to see you in my hometown:)
