I am a big fan of cookies. We’ve enjoyed sharing these with friends, but there are many other favorites that didn’t make it to the oven this year. Maybe next time!

This really makes me miss my grandmother’s and mother’s and aunt’s cookie plates. My mom learned how to make Baklava and started adding that as well. She also made a really old recipe that came from Blum’s bakery in SF. I should post it since I’ve never seen anything like it anywhere else. Persimmon cookies were always on plates and we kids never liked them until we were adults.
