American Football in Poznan

May 24, 2011 by Lois Britton 4 Comments

Several towns in Poland have semi-pro teams playing American football.  Last Saturday, we watched the Poznan Kozły (billy goats) take on visitors from Lodz.  The play was a little slower than professional or college teams stateside, so I found it easier to follow the game.  Poznan won in a shutout.

Have you read John Girsham's Playing for Pizza? It was about american football in Italy. It was a fun read.

I want to say yes, but Lauren will correct me and say no, you listened to it in the car. Ed and I had the audio book on a trip to LA. You're right; it was a fun read and very different for Grisham.

    HI,
I am also an expat living in Poznan. Where is there a schedule of football games in Poznan?
