Bible Study

March 11, 2011 by Lois Britton 1 Comment

My friend, Janet, invited me to join a Bible study that meets in her home every Thursday morning.  I’m looking forward to making it a weekly event.  It’s a group of about a dozen English speaking women – mostly Americans, but the UK, Poland, and Nigeria were represented as well.

I had planned to take my Bible, pictured above, but my husband pointed out that I could put a Bible App on my ipad. It offers the advantage of being able to easily switch between different translations (or even languages) of the same verse with a touch of the screen.  I’m finding more and more uses for my ipad and suspect that within months, I will be totally lost without it.

We discussed the last chapter of Ephesians and what was happening in everyone’s life with great enthusiasm.  In this group gathered to grow in God’s word, there was also an tremendous sense of fellowship and sisterhood – what a find!
