Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1 cup packed brown sugar
  • 1 cup creamy peanut butter
  • 1 cup butter, softened
  • 2 eggs
  • 3 cups flour
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons baking soda
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • Additional granulated sugar (about 2 tablespoons)
  • About 7 dozen Hershey’s Kisses, unwrapped

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375
  2. Beat 1/2 cup sugar, the brown sugar, peanut butter, butter and eggs
  3. Stir in flour, baking soda and baking powder
  4. Roll dough into 1-inch balls
  5. Roll in additional granulated sugar
  6. Place about 2 inches apart on ungreased cookie sheet
  7. Bake 8 – 10 minutes or until edges are light brown
  8. Immediately press 1 chocolate candy in center of each cookie
  9. Remove from cookie sheet to wire rack
