Delicious on its own or mix with ginger beer for an snappy cocktail
Ingredients
Scale
- 2 apples, diced (peel left on)
- 1 cinnamon stick
- 1 piece of lemon zest, cut with a vegetable peeler
- 1/2 inch cube of fresh ginger, peeled
- 1/3 cup sugar
- 2 cups vodka
Instructions
- Combined all of the ingredients in a sealed container
- Shake swirl a few times a day to dissolve the sugar
- After a week or two strain through a coffee filter
- Return to clean jars, the flavor improves with time
