Description

A tasty bite with drinks or to start a meal


Ingredients

  • frozen puff pastry sheets, thawed
  • olives, any variety, pitted
  • paprika

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 425 F
  2. Cut the pastry into rectangles just big enough to wrap around your olives
  3. Wrap the olives and pinch the pastry to seal the sides
  4. Sprinkle with paprika
  5. Place on cookie sheet and bake for about 15 minutes, until puffy and brown

Notes

Variation: brush with an egg wash (made by whisking 1 egg yolk, 1 tablespoon cold water and 1 tablespoon of canola oil), sprinkle with shredded Parmesan cheese.
