Ingredients
Scale
- 3 tablespoons flour
- 3 tablespoons butter
- 1 1/2 cups chicken broth, or 1 Knorr chicken bouillon cube dissoved in 1 1/2 cups water
- 1/2 cup heavy cream
- 2 tablespoons finely cut dill
Instructions
- Cook the flour in the butter, stirring until it is thickened and sooth
- Add the broth, stirring and cook until it is thickened and the flour no longer tastes raw
- Add the dill, and simmer slowly for 10 minutes
- Taste the sauce for seasoning
Notes
Yogurt or sour cream may be substituted for part of the cream. If using add at the end of the cooking time.
